Warm duck down jackets: light and airy!
The advantages of a down jacket depend on a combination of operational factors, among which the leading place is given to the filler. In order for winter clothes to retain heat well, designers use various heat-saving fibers. And today, despite the popularization of innovative synthetics (holofiber, isosoft, thinsulate, synthetic down), natural materials have not lost their relevance. Agree that even the phrase "duck down jacket" sounds warm and cozy!
Advantages of duck down used in down jackets
- Duck, goose, swan down jackets are quite light, although they look voluminous. It is the relief shape with the characteristic surface quilting that is the main calling card of the down jacket: duck down is placed in special compartments, so it does not crumble, does not bunch up and does not leak out.
